Lindsey is a good person who does bad things, but loves and protects fiercely. Mason is a great man and detective, but an even better dad. The instant their paths cross, they shared a connection that would forever change their lives. Both of them have secrets and pasts that they are not forthcoming about, but their love and trust in each other is enough. Until it isn't. Some books have this massive build up and when it comes time for the climax, it is disappointing. That was not the case with this book!! There are a lot of characters that are introduced and I hope we get to hear their stories throughout the series. My only critique is that there were details and characters in this book that I felt needed more attention like Mason's past that were the reason behind his night terrors, Adriana/Enzo, Biker Gang, etc. I am sure we will learn more in the books to come, I am just too impatient! If you are looking for something that you haven't read before, I recommend Exposed!
Wow..A book where the heroine is from the other side of the tracks and the guy is good following and applying the rules? That was nice for a change!! We always read about men being the badasses, criminals so I am still impressed with the change of roles. I wouldn't have minded to see more of Lindsey being ruthless as her reputation was stating, but still, it wasn't bad at allD As for Mason, he is the good cop, the perfect father and I fell in love with him from the start. Both MC are holding the burdens of their pasts burried deep inside them and are afraid to open, which made them so real and vulnerable. The plot kept me on my toes constantly with all the turning of events and what's more all the other characters are so well developed along the main ones that there is place for their stories as well, which makes this book the good start of a kick-ass series!! And this makes me excited!! Great plot written from dual POV ( amazing writing style btw) with good developed characters!! Enjoy!!
Exposed. This story is about Lindsey and Mason. Lindsey finds herself as a teenager fending for not only herself but her younger sister Ali. Not knowing what to do she gets caught up in a web of criminal activities in order to survive. As a successful business women nobody knew about the shady things she is involved in.
With Ali having fallen down the wrong path and being caught in the crossfire with the mob and the police both Lindsey and Ali decide to help out the authorities as key witnesses. This is when Lindsey meets detective Mason. The sexual attraction between them is undeniable.
Will they be able to stay away from each other or will the sexual chemistry draw them to each other? Will Lindsey be able to keep her secrete from Mason?
A story of the struggles of two people, who are on total opposites of the law, to be together. I loved Mason character. A devoted father wanting to keep his daughter safe, not willing to jeopardize her safety for anything or anyone. Lindsey a sassy character not being custom to giving up control of her life to anything or anyone. A story full of drama, suspense but also a story of devotion and love.
I loved this story. A definite recommend.

This book from beginning to end had me HOOKED! I immediately connected with the characters and just had to know more about Lindsey and Mason... HELLO, HOT AF DETECTIVE MASON COLE! This story was so well written and detailed. I loved how this story was paced out and the palpable connection between Lindsey and Mason jumped off the page me. The angst between these two, the sparks flying when they connected (quite literally), and OH the chemistry between them. Absolutely loved reading them falling in love. This book had everything for me. The chemistry between the lead characters, hell, even the chemistry between the secondary characters, the suspense, the twists and turns, I didn't see coming, like at all (Enzo, Adriana, Jeremy) .... I'm obsessed but I said that already. lol! The ending had me smiling like a loon and that ending, yeah that leads into BOOK 2... HOLY WOWZERS! Didn't see that coming... I'm so grateful that I now can say I'm a Ivy Stone worshiper. Her beautiful words and characters are forever etched on my soul. I highly recommend her Unguarded Novel's.. and I call dibs on Mase ... "Protect and Serve" me, Mase!
I have a feeling tho, Roamyn will be giving him so competition in 'Divided'
